The Chirnside Park Football Netball Club are thrilled to announce that Dave Newlands has signed on again as senior coach for the 2022 season.
Since taking over in 2019, Dave has worked extremely hard with his assistant coaches and the playing group in what has been a challenging 2 seasons, having missed the 2020 season due to COVID. The 2021 season highlights the progress the group has made and the significant strides as a club we have commenced to take, to where we think we belong.
The club is at an important juncture where we think the demographic of our Senior list and the great junior program we have been developing as a club, particularly through our U17’s & U19’s, we can use to grow our list in the coming years and provide Dave and his coaching team with an opportunity to continue to develop, not only great footballers, but a group of great young men.
Luke Mather, our Reserves coach & Reece Dunne, our U19’s coach, have also been re-appointed for Season 2022 which provides the whole Men’s program with significant stability looking ahead.
Whilst we announce these re-appointments, the club is extremely proud of the whole group, having both our Seniors & U19’s making finals for the first time in over a decade.
