The variation in time added to the drama with the Mulgrave v Scoresby game finishing ahead of most other games. At the time the final siren rung at Mulgrave – Scoresby were holding onto a small lead over East Burwood.

In the proceeding 5-10 minutes both Wantirna South and East Burwood traded goals each shifting the percentage. At one point during the last term at Walker Reserve the difference between the two sides was 0.01%!

A last quarter run of goals including their final major of the game the difference for the Rams who kicked 5 goals to increase percentage and hold onto their position in Division 2.

The EFL would like to thank John O’Sullivan (Mulgrave v Scoresby) and Mitchell Clark (Wantirna South v East Burwood) for their consistent updates over the closing stages as well as Noel McPhee and Aaron Kirkby-Rodier who kept the twittersphere and our listening audience updated with the live ladder all afternoon.
