In Division 1, Vermont defeated South Croydon by 13 points off the back of five goals to Andrew Ainger. Scores were locked at 40 apiece at half-time before the Eagles took a slight advantage with eight goals to six after the main break. Meanwhile, Noble Park has upset Rowville by 10 points at Seebeck Oval, led by Piva Wright with three goals.

In Division 2, Doncaster East held off a fast-finishing Lilydale to inflict the Falcons’ first loss this season at the Lilydale Sports Oval. The Lions trailed by 15 points at half-time before piling on six goals to none in the third term, before the Falcons hit back with four goals to one in the final term, drawing to within two points at the 25-minute-mark. Jack Sholakis kicked the sealer late, while Jake Summers finished with four for the afternoon.

Ringwood has defeated Boronia in Division 3 on its way to recording an undefeated home and away season, becoming the first side to do so since Upper Ferntree Gully in 2016. The Redbacks came away with an 18-point victory, courtesy of six majors from Mitch Brereton.

The red-hot Glen Waverley Hawks have survived a late scare from an in-form Silvan outfit, prevailing by one point. Murray and Ferguson each booted three crucial goals for the away side.
