Match-day information for the NNL v EFL interleague netball clash on Friday night.
The Eastern Football League will play its inaugural netball interleague matches on Friday night, coming up against the Northern Netball League, which holds an unbeaten record at representative level.

MATCH TIMES |
Under-19 – match will commence at 7.15pm
Seniors – match will commence at 8.30pm
TICKETING | Admission is free for both interleague matches. Canteen facilities will be operating on the night for the purchase of food and drink. Pets and alcohol are prohibited from being brought into the venue.
DURATION | Both matches will consist of 4 x 12-minute quarters.

Alicia’s speed and ability to read the play give a nice mix that compliments her partner in the goal ring. She shows strong leadership and is always up for a challenge.
Stephanie McNay – Fairpark – GD, GK
A vital member of the defensive end, Stephanie’s vertical leap and agility always putting pressure on the feeds into the circle.
Jordan Lingard – Fairpark – GA, WA
Jordi’s quick play makes her a pivotal member on the attack in any team. Her ability to keep running and create space in the circle, finishing off accurately with a goal.
Rebecca McMahon – Boronia – C, WA
Bec’s mix of experience, speed and game sense brings great strength to the mid court. Her strong leads onto the circle finished off by confident feeding into the goalers is an asset to the team.
Kathleen McMahon – Boronia – WD, C
Bringing a bit more height to the mid court, Kathleen’s pressure on the opposition in WD or throughout the mid court in general is one of her strengths also providing a strong steady influence in C.
Katie Wilson – Croydon – C, WA
Katie’s speed, agility and ability to keep running makes her a great asset to the mid court. She drives hard, hitting the circle to finish off with controlled feeds into the circle.
Verity Boyd – Montrose – WD, C
Verity is a strong confident player whose ability to play anywhere in the mid court makes her a tough competitor. Her ability to read the play and put pressure over the ball is a welcome addition to the team.
Haylee O’Shea – Wantirna South – GD, GK
A lovely defender to watch, Haylee provides great pressure in the circle leading to intercepts taken and great run out of defence.
Lauren Woodgate – Wantirna South – GA, GS
A long-distance shooter, Lauren brings great accuracy to the goal circle as well as hard running and strong leads into the circle making feeding an ease for her mid court team.

Zoe Callanan: Captain. Dynamic midcourter that reads the play beautifully and has great timing and awareness, combined with skilful passing and great defensive pressure. Natural leader.
Zoe Lythgo: Agile attacker, on a wing or in goals. Sets up the play and is a highly skilled, creative thinker that always makes those around her look good. Composed when things heat up.
Mikayla McNamara: Athletic and versatile, most at home in the goals. An intimidating presence in the circle with her ability to dictate ball movement, dynamic pace teamed with strong holding and an ability to shoot from anywhere.
Annaliese Carroll: Defensive midcourter with an uncanny ability to take impossible intercepts. Great shutdown player that will hurt opponents on the attack with her explosive speed. Works relentlessly and never gives up.
Nikeisha Vermulst: Tight one-on-one defender that plays taller than she is. Strong in the air and rarely concedes a rebound, works tirelessly to minimise her goaler’s impact on the game. Always finds a way to work her way ball side.
Holly Galway: Lively defender that will throw herself into every contest. With height on her side she can get great hands over the shot and has excellent rebounding capabilities.
Chenile Chandler: Super athletic defender with a phenomenal jump. Uses her athleticism to hunt for errant passes anywhere in the defensive end of the court and shutting dow space for the opposition.
Hannah Barry-Murphy: Super calm and composed midcourter that supplies the goalers with excellent feeds consistently. Works hard off the ball and is really smart with her positioning and impeccable timing in attack. Highly skilful too.
Sinead Lumsden: Extremely accurate shooter from close or long range with excellent speed and agility. Thinks, creates and uses lightning fast hands in the circle to maximise scoring potential.
Stacey Fleming: Makes shooting goals look effortless. Provides lots of movement and rotation in the circle, holds nicely and remains calm under pressure. Great timing and drive onto the ball, a really graceful mover.
