Last Sunday, the Eastern Football Netball League (EFNL) held our 2024 Junior Interleague series combine testing, facilitated by Project Gap.

259 of the league’s junior stars took part on the day, held at major sponsor Deakin University with Project Gap conducting AFL-style combine testing.

EFNL Junior Football Manager, Daniel Houeix was thrilled with the way the trials ran, “It was pleasing to see our 2024 Interleague program begin in such fine style.”

“Credit to all of our junior athletes involved on the day who not only tested well but conducted themselves in a very professional manner.”

“A special thank you to the team at Project Gap who did a terrific job in ensuring the day ran seamlessly.”

The day presented a fantastic opportunity for our junior talent to test themselves in professional and elite combine testing that includes an agility test, vertical jump, running vertical jump, 20-metre sprint, and beep test, as performed at the AFL Draft combine.

Project Gap has been an official Interleague partner with the EFNL over the last two seasons.

The league would also like to thank Deakin University for their involvement on the day, allowing the league to use their facilities.

The first Interleague trial game will be held on the 3rd of March, more information to come shortly.
