The Eastern Football Netball League (EFNL) acknowledges the issues that occurred with Play HQ on Saturday Night and understands the frustrations it caused the local community.
This was an issue that effected all community football leagues on the PlayHQ platform.
PlayHQ apologised on Saturday evening for the issues and inconvenience stating, “PlayHQ is investigating issues with 404 errors on the PlayHQ Public Portal and PlayAFL App. Our team is working to resolve this ASAP. We will keep you updated as soon as we know more. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.”
AFL Victoria, managing the system implementation, also responded as follows, “We will know more early in the week around the cause of the issues and will go through an incident report with PlayHQ which will outline the cause, steps taken to rectify the issue and processes in place for future weeks.”
PlayHQ staff managed to restore the system, all results and ladders now displaying correctly on the PlayHQ website and App.
We appreciate the patience from all clubs, volunteers and supporters and apologise for the inconvenience across the weekend.
