Starting with Premier/Premier Reserve, Fairpark was led by Van Dreumel with 32 goals and McLellan on 27 in their victory against Montrose. Wantirna South Devils took on their own club in the Reserves with the Devils taking the win, 68-47 with Woodgate and Hickey combining for the Devils. Mulgrave came from behind to defeat Boronia, Smith and Edwards making their shots count for Mulgrave. Scoresby had a convincing win against Norwood, 80-39, Halstead with 45 goals and Pilkington 35 and for Norwood Deane scored 20. Lilydale’s Murphy and Johnston putting on a strong shooting display in their win against Blackburn, 52-30.

Across in Division 1, a 25-goal game for North Ringwood’s Black led them to their win against Coldstream, 34-27. Heathmont’s strong first half set them up for their win against Scoresby, Goulding shot 21 of Heathmont’s 32 goals. South Croydon had a big win against Park Orchards, 40-16, Sands and Stubbs leading the way for South Croydon. Fairpark’s M. Williams and E. Williams played out a strong goaling performance to lead their side to a win against Kilsyth, 43-27. Blackburn came from behind to level up with Forest Hill resulting in a 30 a piece draw.

In Division 2, Lilydale’s McNay scored her team to their win against The Basin, 33-28 and Ferntree Gully’s Morgan goaled her side to their win over Knox, 33-32. Kilsyth’s huge first quarter set them up to keep Ringwood to single digits for the game in their big win, 46-9. Vermont also had a huge win with Phillips scoring 39 of their 48 goals against Park Orchards. Croydon’s Dodd shot 28 of their 34 goals whilst Forest Hill’s Guidice scored 21 of her sides 26, Croydon took the four points. Finishing off the division, Norwood defeated Wantirna, 29-22.

Moving on to Division 3, Heathmont remaining a strong finals contender in their win against Boronia, 27-22. Whitehorse shot away in the second quarter resulting in their win against Norwood, 35-11. Ringwood were able to run over the top of Rowville in the final quarter and get the four points, 34-28. Knox comfortable beat Scoresby, 32-14 and Upper Ferntree Gully defeated Waverley Blues, 30-23. Mulgrave’s Hoskin yet again with another strong shooting display led her team to victory against Kilsyth, 42.26.

In Division 4, Upper Ferntree Gully’s Hutchinson’s 27 goals help her side get over the line against Forest Hill, 38-32. 25 goals for Nunawading’s Farago helped her side to defeat a strong Glen Waverley Hawks side, 36-22. North Ringwood defeated Heathmont, 24-18 and Boronia got the win against Lilydale, 20-16. Coldstream goaling combination in Beaton and Atkins got their side over the line against South Belgrave, 38-16. Despite Ferntree Gully’s efforts in coming back in the final quarter, Wantirna South were able to just stay on top and get the win by 1 goal.

In Division 5, Coldstream Black had a comfortable win against Wantirna South, 36-18, Wilson scored 20 for the match. Heathmont was led by P. Lesiputty who scored 17 of their 28 goals in their win against South Belgrave. A stead 10-goal win for Ringwood against The Basin and in a low scoring game, Mitcham defeated South Croydon, 15-4. Coldstream White was led by. E Jakobs and M. Jakobs as usual as they defeated Norwood, 35-17.

In Division 6, Nunawading were able to get the win against Glen Waverley by 16 goals. Sutherland shot 30 goals for Knox in their win against Coldstream, 38-16. Mulgrave’s Bailey and Bonney worked together in the goal circle and made it count against Norwood, 47-19. Scoresby were able to go away with the four points after a stead win against The Basin, 27-17. Lilydale’s strong performance across all four-quarter led to their sides win against Park Orchards, 25-8 and finishing out the round, Montrose defeated Ferntree Gully by 3 goals.

Looking ahead, all our EFL Netballers will have the week off for some well-earned rest but Friday the 13th all the action returns, and you will see a couple of the top four sides across the divisions face off which will be some exciting netball.
