Bayswater has broken through for its first win of the season, defeating Montrose by 35 points on Saturday afternoon. The drought-breaking result for the Waters, who had not won a match since the 2016 Division 2 grand final, comes as Grubb and Van Rooyen each booted three majors.
Doncaster cruised to a 50-point win over Balwyn at Schramms Reserve, while Blackburn defeated Noble Park by 17 points at Morton Park.

In Division 2, Wantirna South has posted back-to-back wins, following up its win over Mitcham last week with a comfortable 29-point win over Lilydale, with the Falcons having now lost their last two matches.
Meanwhile, Doncaster East outlasted a gallant Mulgrave to record a nine-point win while Mooroolbark continued its charge towards the finals, defeating Croydon by 26 points.

Division 3 saw Scoresby upset Boronia by 23 points, while Ringwood reclaimed the Parker Family Cup, beating Heathmont by 58 points off the back of six goals from Trent Farmer.

In Division 4, Kilsyth and Fairpark played out a thrilling draw, with the scores locked at 96 apiece at the final siren, while Donvale had a resounding 60-point win over Forest Hill.
Coldstream bounced back from its loss to Silvan last weekend, defeating Surrey Park by 43 points.
