In Division 1, Doncaster recorded an emphatic 38-point come-from-behind victory over ladder-leader Vermont at Terrara Road on Saturday afternoon, coming from 21 points down midway through the second term to slam on 11 goals to one in the second half. Jake Kalanj booted four majors for the Sharks, while Annakis was prolific in his side’s win.
Meanwhile, South Croydon came from 55 points down at the main break to topple Norwood by three points at Mullum Reserve.

Lilydale has put Wantirna South’s finals hopes in jeopardy, with a 58-point victory at the Lilydale Sports Oval. At Zerbes Reserve, Doncaster East was too good for Croydon, prevailing by 52 points off the back of five goals to Jake Summers.
