Keep up to date with all the scores across all four divisions on the Bendigo Bank Saturday Night Scoreboard…. 

Division 1 saw a titanic-struggle between Vermont and Balwyn out at Vermont Recreation Reserve on Saturday afternoon, with the Eagles surviving a late Tigers surge to run out seven-point winners, 15.8 (98) to 14.7 (91).

Ainger booted four goals on debut for the Eagles, while new Balwyn recruit Charlie Haley did the same up the other end.

Meanwhile, South Croydon has recorded a 13-point come-from-behind victory over Noble Park, overcoming a 23-point deficit at quarter time on the day it unfurled the 2017 Division 1 flag to the Dogs’ faithful.

In Division 2, Mooroolbark defeated Doncaster East by 15 points at Heights Reserve, while Bayswater returned to the second tier with a resounding thud, defeating Mulgrave by 120 points.

Heathmont renewed acquaintances with arch-rival Ringwood in Division 3, with the Parker Family Cup heading to Jubilee Park off the back of a 10-point victory to the Redbacks. Leigh Odermatt kicked three for Heathmont, while Brereton starred with five for Ringwood.

2017 runner-up Forest Hill opened its account for 2018 in Division 4, recording a 36-point victory over Surrey Park. Steve Pimm and Michael Cardamone were pivotal in the win, kicking nine goals between them.
