Back to finals in season 2017 for Norwood Football Club. Following a disappointing 2017 the club is poised to once again make an assault on finals after recruiting well over the off-season and focusing on development of youth.

What is the club’s ethos/focus in season 2017?
Be Stronger, fitter, get back to finals after missing last season. Improve & develop both on & off the field
What has the pre-season been like so far for the club, is there any group that have really impressed (younger players, veterans, new recruits etc.)
Entire playing group is at the level required, new recruits have fitted in well, great to see some returning faces
Off the field has there been any changes to the structure of the club? And how are you situated heading into the 2017 season?
Appointment of Football manager to assist Director of Football & expanded coaching group
Introduction of the Norwood Academy, headed by Duncan Cant – its purpose is to develop, support & educate young players from juniors through to senior club
If you could take one thing you learnt from the 2016 season to improve this year, what would it be?

Who are the players who you think will have a break-out season, who may have gone under the radar in the past as far the being known across the EFL community?
We have 4 returning players, we are expecting improvement from each of them played 9 first year players last year – continue to develop them to become regular senior players, creates depth which is what is always needed in 1st Division
Where does the club see itself in 3 years time?
Playing finals, developing our players, recruiting sensibly as we do
Finally, who in your Division do you feel is the greatest threat to your chances of success in 2017 and why?
History shows – top 4 from 2016 will be main threats, believe it will be an even year
