The Eastern Football Netball League can reveal its plans for the remainder of both the Deakin University Senior Women’s and the BJS Veterans’ seasons.
The league has developed several options based on different return to play dates. These dates are of course dependent on the Victorian Government’s health guidelines and restrictions.
In both the Senior Women’s and the Men’s Veterans competitions there will be no more Home and Away fixtures, as the league hopes for a return on August 28/9th .
If play can return on that weekend a knockout top four will remain in all divisions of the Women’s competition.
However, should play resume at a later date, the semi-finals will be removed from the fixture and the top two ranked sides in each division would play in a Grand Final.
If play cannot return before the 18th of September, then the Grand Final will not be played.
Below is a table which outlines the options for the remainder of the Women’s season.

Like the Women’s competition, If play cannot return before the 19th of September, then the Grand Final will not be played.

For the Women’s Veterans competition, the fixture between Mooroolbark/East Ringwood and Chirnside Park has been scheduled for the 28th of August, with a Grand Final between the top two ranked sides to come the following weekend.
But much like the Senior Women’s and their male counterparts, should play not go ahead on the 28/9th of August, only the Grand Final will be played, with the 18/9th of September the absolute end date.
