The EFNL is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Van Noordennen as the leagues new Umpire Operations Manager.
Van Noordennen was previously the League’s Head of Umpiring for four years before stepping down from that role at the end 2019. Since 2020 Van Noordennen has been working with ALDI in their warehouse and logistic team managing a large warehouse team. In 2022 he re-joined the League in an umpiring support role as a Senior Field Coach and observer and was engaged in the recruitment and retention of umpires.
CEO Troy Swainston said the league is thrilled to appoint Van Noordennen to the role
“We are excited to have Scott back with us and look forward to his impact on our umpiring group”
“His previous umpiring experience (30+ years), knowledge of the League and skillset aligns with the key priorities of the role”
COVID-19 has created new challenges for all involved in Community sport (participants, officials, volunteers), it is this challenge and the opportunity to have influence within the umpiring group that excites Van Noordennen.
Van Noordennen will commence full time with the League on Monday 17th October 2022.
