Following the success of the 2016 campaign, Eastern Football League under-19s coach Wayne Judge has named his initial 61-man squad.
The League will take on the Essendon District Football League in a curtain raiser to the senior game between the two leagues on Saturday, May 13.
A large percentage of the group, despite being under-19s have played and excelled at senior level demonstrating their ability early in the season.
The League will look to continue its unbeaten run in çolts (under-18/19) football which stretches back to the 1996 season and includes last year’s narrow win over the Geelong Football League.
