Apart from a world pandemic and multitude of Prime Ministers, it actually doesn’t seem that long ago that Rowville and Doncaster East were both plying their trade in Division 2 (2004).  Now they are both contenders for a Premier Division flag.  These clubs have not met each other in a final.  The Lions won the first 12 meetings against the Hawks.Division 1 Round 14Wins WinsDrawsStreakLilydale16Bayswater240B 2Montrose0Beaconsfield10B 1^East Ringwood4Mooroolbark20M 1^Croydon9Upper FTG40C 3Wantirna South12Mitcham70M 1

A huge top of the table clash in Division 1, with Mooroolbark and East Ringwood both enjoying their best season for a number of years.  The Roos will play finals for the first time since 2008, breaking their longest ever finals drought.  The Barkers are within sight of a first undefeated home and away season.Division 2 Round 14Wins WinsDrawsStreakOakleigh District0East Burwood10EB 1^Boronia24Heathmont241B 1South Belgrave1Mulgrave10M 1^Ringwood9Templestowe110R 2Knox4The Basin90TB 3

Boronia and Heathmont notch up their 50th meeting.  They played the first four EFL seasons together in the top-flight and have spent the last decade together in Division 2.Division 3 Round 14Wins WinsDrawsStreakColdstream25Fairpark140C 1Ferntree Gully1Scoresby130S 6Waverley Blues6Glen Waverley10WB 1Whitehorse Prs10Warrandyte140Wr 4^Donvale Bye

Whilst the Division 3 top four is virtually assured the relegation ‘race’ is anything but, especially with two teams to be relegated.  It could well come down to percentage after round 18 so every score or touched behind may be vital.  Five teams within a game of each other!  One of Ferntree Gully and Scoresby will breathe slightly easier after this round.
