The Blackburn Football Club is seeking a Head Coach for the Men’s Development Team (Reserves) for the 2022 Season.
We are a strong community-based football club and seek a person with extremely high standards, technical competency, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
A strong focus on the development of individuals, both on and off the field, is a requirement. The successful candidate will be expected to add value to an already successful football program, with Senior teams that compete regularly in Finals.
The Development squad is comprised of experienced and talented young footballers, they require someone that can develop them and support their push towards playing regular Senior Football.
The Men’s Development Team Head Coach will be required to work closely with our Men’s Senior Coaching group, especially Senior Team Head Coach Brendan Allen, and give support to our Under 19 Coaching group.
The successful candidate will be supported by a strong Committee and Senior Player leadership group. Previous Senior Coaching experience will be considered an advantage.
The successful applicant will need to have a min. Level 1 Coaching accreditation (with aspirations to reach level 2)
