The Eastern Football Netball League is proud to be hosting Play4BCNA Round across May 8-10 this season, as we aim to raise much-needed awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Network Australia and breast cancer research.
An average of 53 people were diagnosed with breast cancer each day in Australia in 2019, with over 3,000 lives lost to the disease last year.
Breast cancer accounts for a total 14 per cent of all cancer deaths in Australian women and is currently the second leading cause of cancer death in Australian women after lung cancer.
There are a range of ways for your club to become involved in Play4BCNA Round, including hosting a Pink Sports Day, the purchase of Pink Sports Day merchandise with socks, shoelaces, arm tape and scrunchies all available, along with fundraisers and events.
