The EFL is pleased to announce the appointment of Dyson Baker as the leagues new Manager of Junior Football.
Dyson, who has a Bachelor of Business (Sports Management) and is enrolled in the Masters of Sports Management Program, brings to the role a detailed understanding of the league and the position having worked as the leagues Media Manager for the last three years.
He has also previously been involved at EFL club level as a coach and committee member, as well as coaching other junior sports.
League CEO Phil Murton said Baker was a tremendous choice for the league.
“Dyson’s experience with and knowledge of the league makes him an excellent candidate”, Murton said.
“While he has been involved in the media operations of the league for a long time, his study and career aspirations have been focused towards more broader sports management areas and in his time with us he has involved himself across all areas of the league so understands acutely the role and the responsibilities that come with it”.
Both Baker and outgoing Junior Manager Rod Cordwell remain in their respective roles while a replacement Media Manager is sought to ensure smooth transitions across all roles.
The position of Media Manager will be advertised shortly.
