Each year NAIDOC week is an opportunity for all Australians to come together to celebrate with First Nations peoples their history, cultures and achievements as the oldest continuing culture. NAIDOC week celebrations are for everyone and the 2021 theme is ‘Heal Country’.
This theme speaks to the connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have to the land, the waterways and sacred sites and asks everyone to think about ways we can all work together, make change and heal as a nation.
