Back in Division 1 for the first time since 2003, newly promoted Bayswater will be looking to make an immediate impact. Having claimed the Division 2 crown in emphatic fashion the ‘Waters have added top shelf recruits.

To successfully make the transition up to first division and be competitive against all comers.

What has the pre-season been like so far for the club, is there any group that have really impressed (younger players, veterans, new recruits etc.)

Good numbers on the track. Minimal loss of players with the new recruits performing well and impressing with their application.

Off the field has there been any changes to the structure of the club? And how are you situated heading into the 2017 season?

A change of president with a few new faces with fresh ideas on the committee. Financially sound.

If you could take one thing you learnt from the 2016 season to improve this year, what would it be?

We will need to improve player strength and skills to handle the pressures of Division 1 football.

Who are the players who you think will have a break-out season, who may have gone under the radar in the past as far the being known across the EFL community?

Justin Dight with his attack on the ball and pressure at stoppages. Ben Searle continues to improve and Hayden Schroeder has bulked up to add extra strength and marking ability across the backline. Where does the club see itself in 3 years time?

Competing with the very best in the EFL and contesting finals. Finally, who in your division do you feel is the greatest threat to your chances of success in 2017 and why?

We know moving up the Division that Balwyn, Noble Park and Vermont because of their ability to recruit well and constantly perform well in finals.
