FLACK CALLS TIME

Glen Waverley Hawks mentor Ryan Flack has stepped down from the role of senior coach.

Flack took the Hawks to the grand final in Division 4 in 2018, in a season where his side won a club-record 16 matches in a row.

“The senior coaching position was declared open this week after Ryan Flack decided to stand down,” club secretary Andrew Newey said.

“Ryan cited work and family commitments as his reason for stepping aside.

“Ryan will be involved in helping find the replacement and would like to continue to be involved with the Club moving forward in season 2019.”
