FAIRPARK SEEKS TRAINERS

The Fairpark Football Club is seeking trainers for season 2019.

The Fairpark Football Club is seeking a qualified Head Trainer to work with the Club’s senior men’s, reserves and under-19 teams, who train Tuesday and Thursday evenings and play Saturday mornings/afternoons (plus one Saturday night match).

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading a team of trainers and must be available to attend training sessions and match day.

You will get great experience working with professionals in their fields, including an ex-AFL trainer.

You will be financially remunerated for your time, with pay rates determined based on your experience and training.

General sports trainers are also being sought. Please contact the club for more information.

General Duties:

  1. Manage a small team of trainers, including determining rosters and providing guidance as required.

  2. Provide leadership to your team and also assist with massage, strapping and injury prevention duties at training sessions and on match days.

  3. Assist with training sessions held by the Club as required.

  4. Work with the Committee to ensure medical equipment, strapping tape and other essentials are kept in stock.

Trainers will be financially remunerated for their time, with pay rates determined based on the applicants experience and training.

The successful applicant(s) will attend an accreditation course run through the Eastern Football League (unless previously completed).

The course will be subsidised by the club.
