EFNL Silent Sunday

Over the next two rounds of the Junior Football season, the Eastern Football Netball League have returned the ‘Silent Sunday’ initiative.

Remind coaches, parents & players that PRACTICE is the time to learn and receive instruction. GAMES are to showcase their learning.

Remind everyone that Junior Football is solely for the kids & their enjoyment.

To support the umpires who are officiating the game and developing their skills.

Be respectful to all attendees at Junior football.

Provide a positive environment for our Juniors footballers to flourish.

SPECTATORS

We ask that spectators make no coaching comments about the game or direct any instruction to the players, coaches or umpires.

We encourage spectators to clap and cheer for all players and umpires.

COACHES

We ask coaches to take this as an opportunity to see how much the players have learned this season.

We do not want to make coaches completely silent, instead we would request you focus on letting the game be played and instruct and encourage during the breaks.
