EFNL NETBALL STATEMENT – 16/6/2021

The Eastern Football Netball League’s Netball competition will not resume this Friday, due to restrictions on indoor density limits.

Two of the EFNL’s netball venues are not currently taking any external bookings and pre-empting a venue cap similar to the one in Regional Victoria, we will be unable to resume netball competition this weekend.

Once venues are fully operational and we have further easing on Indoor density limits, we will advise accordingly.

We are hopeful of re-starting in round 10 on the 25th of June.

Similar to the Football competitions, the EFNL netball season will be extended to recover those games missed due to lockdown and the 2021 finals series will now be played over two weeks rather than three.

The fixture changes are as follows;

Premier Division, Division One, Division Two and Division Three will play their make-up games 20th and 27th of August.

Finals will be 3rd and 10th of September.

Division Four, Division Five, Division Six and Division Seven will play their make-up games on 13th and 20th of August.

Finals will be 27th of August and 3rd of September.
