In Premier Division, Vermont made a statement against fellow finals aspirant Rowville with a 52-point win led by Brett Eddy with four majors, as Norwood jumped into fourth position on the ladder with a strong win over Montrose.

Division 1 action saw Wantirna South answer its critics with a thrilling two-point win over East Ringwood to lift itself off the bottom of the ladder. Skipper Luke Williams was in fine form kicking three goals, followed by Jackson Freeman with two. Meanwhile, Park Orchards upset Mooroolbark by 14 points and Upper Ferntree Gully held on by three points over Croydon.
In Division 2, Templestowe edged Ringwood by nine points, with the Dockers coming from behind at the final change booting three goals to none in the final term. At HE Parker Reserve, Heathmont claimed a 10-point victory over The Basin, led by Haynes and Bajramov with four goals each.
Division 3 saw Warrandyte answer its critics with a 36-point win over Donvale, registering 30 scoring shots as Ferntree Gully defeated the Whitehorse Pioneers by 48 points off the back of 12 goals to three in the second half.
Division 4 ladder-leader East Burwood defeated Silvan by 43 points off the back of three goals to Handreck and two each to the Mariani brothers, while Coldstream recorded a comfortable win over Fairpark.
