In Premier Division, it was Rowville bouncing back from two straight defeats to hand Vermont its first loss for season 2019, downing the Eagles by eight points at Seebeck Oval. Matt Davey led the charge for the Hawks booting three majors, while Kirby McConnon kicked three for Vermont. Meanwhile, South Croydon posted its third-straight victory to bring its season to 3-3, after a 13-point win over Noble Park at Cheong Park.
Division 1 saw Croydon defeat Wantirna South by 25 points at Croydon Oval, off the back of four goals to Riley Britton, while Knox inflicted Lilydale with its first loss of season 2019, registering a 14-point upset.
Continuing with the theme of upsets, Boronia posted a 23-point win over a previously-undefeated Mitcham outfit, after the Hawks led at all changes. Meanwhile, Ringwood retained the Parker Family Cup with a 49-point win over Heathmont at HE Parker Reserve, as Declan Hill finished with four goals.
Division 3 ladder-leader South Belgrave continued its unbeaten run this season with a resounding 130-point win over the Glen Waverley Hawks, as the Waverley Blues enjoyed a 210-point win over Chirnside Park.
In Division 4, Surrey Park overcame an in-form Silvan outfit to run out eight-point winners, while Fairpark continued its undefeated run with a comprehensive win over Kilsyth.
