The Basin Football Club has regretfully accepted the resignation of Michael Glassborow as Senior Coach.
Michael has had to step down as Senior Coach due to work commitments that will see him relocate interstate. We would like to sincerely thank Michael for all the hard work he has put in over the last five years at the club, his work ethic, football philosophies and repour with our playing list has seen our club improve significantly while he has been at the helm.
We understand that he has been presented with a great career opportunity and we wish him, Karen and the kids all the best for the future. They will always be welcomed back at the club with open arms.
At this time we have also accepted the resignation of Chris Adolph as Assistant coach. Chris has worked closely with Michael over the past 2 years and we also wish Chris all the best with his future endeavours.
Due to these changes in our Coaching Personal, it is with great excitement that we would like to announce Jono Morris and Gary Lee as Co-Senior coaches for season 2016.
Jono joined the club in 2015, having achieved many great accolades in the VFL and EDFL. Jono has shown tremendous leadership skills on-field and we are confident that he will have no difficulties in replicating these off field in this new role.
Gary Lee has been Senior Assistant Coach at the club for the past 3 years, this has seen him work closely with Michael in the development of our playing list. Over his time in this role Gary has been pivotal in developing and implementing our Game plan. We are confident that he will flourish with the added responsibilities of Senior coach.
The Club would like to wish both Jono and Gary all the best in their new roles and we are confident that both men are more than capable of continuing the emergence of The Basin Football Club.
