After the departure of 2014 coach Mick Gaul just weeks ago, the Ringwood Football Club have been looking for a man to take up the top job a Jubilee Park.
With the start of pre-season at most clubs Imminent it was essential for Ringwood to find a coach for the 2015 season, sooner rather than later. Below is a statement from President Peter Ryan about the clubs recent appointment.
“The Ringwood Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of a Senior Coach Patrick Bowden for the 2015 Season and beyond.
Patrick had had a distinguished playing career at AFL level and has also played with Balwyn in the EFL following his retirement from the AFL. Recently he has been in Western Australia for the past two years where amongst other roles he has been an Assistant Coach with South Fremantle in the WAFL.
Patrick and his family are returning from Western Australia to Victoria in December. Patrick will take up the role of Senior Coach at Ringwood upon his return. He is extremely excited about accepting the opportunity and challenge involved in taking on the role of Senior Coach at the Ringwood Football Club.
