Blues land Jordon | Croydon Coaching Announcement


The Croydon Football Netball Club last night announced the appointment of their new senior coach, Rhett Jordon.

The former Norwood captain, and 2014 premiership player is set to take over the Blues as they enter Division Two in season 2024.

He takes over the role from Morris D’Alessandro who stepped away from Croydon at the end of 2023 season where Croydon finishing ninth on the Division One ladder.

Over 150 games at senior level for Norwood as well as 202 goals, Jordan brings across a wealth of experience, including five seasons at VFL level with Coburg.


Jordon has now come full circle, originally started his football journey with the Blues, as part of the Croydon Junior Football Club.

Croydon Football Netball club are excited to announce the appointment of Rhett Jordon as our senior coach for seasons 2024 & 2025. Rhett brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge of top level football from his playing and coaching career across EFNL premier division, VFL and state league representation.


Rhett is passionate and professional in his approach to football and is eagerly looking forward to working with our talented young list to help them achieve their collective goals.


With Rhett starting his journey at Croydon Junior Football Club we are wrapped to welcome Rhett, his wife Jess and children Kenzi & Brody back to the Croydon Football Netball Club family.
