The Eastern Football League is pleased to announce a new naming rights partnership with the Bendigo Community Bank. The agreement will see Bendigo Community Bank become naming rights sponsor of the league for the next three seasons.
The partnership is an initiative of Bendigo Bank’s new Collaborative Marketing Program. The EFL has had an existing association with Bendigo Bank through the Canterbury, Ashburton, Balwyn and Surrey Hills Branches, with this new agreement expanding the scope and investment to include the entire EFL footprint.
Eastern Football League CEO Phil Murton is excited about the prospect of the new deal that will assist the league to continue to develop in a number of key areas. “We are very pleased with the new agreement which is a further reflection of Bendigo Community Banks commitment to local sport and their local communities.
Murton is buoyed by the agreement that will assist the league in delivering game and club development initiatives to keep footy in the East of Melbourne as strong as possible.
“Many EFL clubs have already been the beneficiaries of the banks community programs with a number of clubs receiving defibrillators, electronic scoreboards and playing jumpers thanks to the support of their local Bendigo Bank branch. This agreement will further extend those potential returns”, Murton said.
Bendigo Community Bank Representative Stuart Greig sees the partnership with the Eastern Football League as yet another opportunity to engage with the local community.
“The more money community banks make; the more money we have available to invest back into the local community.
“In order for this partnership to maximise the clubs return there is a referral which is paid to the clubs of up to $400 per loan for all home or business loans. Switch today to help your club receive additional funding from your local community bank.”
