Donvale Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of their junior girl’s coaches.
Greg Walker will be our under 18’s girls coach for this season. Greg comes to the club with a very impressive bio. He has:
- Worked as a development Coordinator with AFL Cape York and AFL Queensland.
- Head coach and assistant coach at many NQ and Queensland State championships. (under 14 boys and under17 girls) in 2016, 2017 & 2018.
- Assistant coach for the under 15 indigenous Queensland side at National Championships 2018.
- Head coach under 15 girls Burleigh Bombers in 2019, (grand finalists)
- Assistant coach under 17 girls Gold Coast North at State championships 2019
- Played senior footy in Cairns and junior football in the EFL.
Allisha Djordevic will be our under 16’s girls coach for season 2021. Allisha is a current senior women’s player with Donvale and has acted in a number of coaching assistant roles with the club over recent seasons.
- We have the coaches and support staff.
- We have modern dedicated facilities for girls and women.
- Our women’s football will be played at Donvale Reserve when at home.
- Donvale will field two senior women’s teams in 2021 providing a direct pathway for emerging female footballers at Donvale.
We are recruiting girls and boys, so come and join us.
