Eastern Football Netball League Media Manager Matt Fotia has informed the league that he will be moving on at the conclusion on the 2022 season after almost three years of service in the role.

Matt worked on the EFNL Media Team across 2017 and 2018 before being appointed to the role of Media Manager with the Outer East FNL. In February 2020 he returned to the EFNL in a full-time capacity and has become an integral part of the team.

Matt has achieved a great deal in his time with the League and has taken our media coverage to the next level. Many people will consider Matt the voice and face of the EFNL, an enthusiastic caller, who manages a team who do a superb job of filming, calling, interviewing, and conducting podcasts that promote and cover the league. He has adapted the leagues offering and content over time and the EFNL is seen as a leader in this space, with a large following on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.

The EFNL are very appreciative of his work ethic, dedication, passion, and commitment over the past three years, with his contribution to the league and its promotion significant.

Matt will be missed and difficult to replace but we wish him all the best in his exciting new role as Social Media and Community Engagement Specialist with Netball Australia.

Matt’s final day with the League will be Friday 23rd September 2022.

The search for a new EFNL Media Manager will commence shortly.
