JUNIOR CLUB OF THE YEAR

The Eastern Football Netball League is pleased to announce that the Junior Club of the Year for 2021 is the North Ringwood Junior Football Club.

The Saints were chosen from a deep pool of candidates, with a wide range of reasons taken into account when making this very tough decision.

North Ringwood have presented themselves as one of the most well run Junior clubs in the league over the course of several seasons and this honour is reward for that consistency, along with their eagerness to assist the league with major projects, such as the implementation of the Under Eight Competition.

The Saints have also showcased strong on-field form and behaviour across 2021 not only from their players, but also their officials.

Junior Football Manager Corey Maynard had the following to say about the worthy winners and the rest of the Eastern Football Netball League’s Junior clubs.

“I would like to personally thank Chris, Gareth and Tammie for their professionalism and commitment at every level of their club operations,” Maynard said.

“It is worth noting that 2021 was yet another challenging year that demanded a level of professionalism and sacrifice from all EFNL Junior Clubs.

“Every club was successful in their own right and that is reflected by the fact that the EFNL were able to complete 12 out of a possible 14 rounds, award Minor Premierships and a full slate of Junior Awards.

“We thank each and every club for their commitment and dedication in season 2021.”
