JUNIOR PRELIMINARY FINALS

This Sunday week two of Junior finals continue with preliminary finals taking place across eight ‘host venues’ venues. A big thank you to each of those clubs hosting finals this Sunday.

Congratulations to all those teams who have moved straight through to the Grand Final and to those teams who have won their way through to the Preliminary Final on Sunday.

Respect for our Umpires, Players, and Officials The behaviour and conduct at finals thus far has been exceptionally good and that needs to continue throughout the entire finals series. As crowds build and the stakes rise its incredibly important that the environment remains suitable for kids to play Junior football.

Clubs should continue to monitor the behaviour of their spectators and players at venues when not participating they are still representing your club. Teams who have progressed to Grand Finals and are watching the Preliminary Finals should remain respectful to their opposition and not be engaging or delivering abuse over the fence towards players.

Everyone at the game has a role to play in ensuring that the environment and atmosphere on field is positive for the kids and they have a wonderful experience playing finals.

Win or lose, finals should be a memorable experience for every PARTICIPANT!

Any abuse towards umpires, players, spectators or matchday officials is unacceptable.

Best of Luck to all Teams playing Preliminary Finals on Sunday!
