The Eastern Football Netball League (EFNL) is proud to announce a rebrand of our organisation, introducing a new name and logo.
The renaming of the League was met with a unanimous vote among EFNL clubs at a recent special general meeting on September 25 at Ringwood’s Jubilee Park, with the new logo and name encompassing the entirety of our membership base and organisation as a community football and netball competition.
EFNL Chief Executive Officer Troy Swainston said it was timely that the League recognised netball as a key part of the competition as many of our clubs have already done.
“We believe the new logo better represents the League today and moving into the future,” Swainston said.
“We anticipate that most will refer to the League as ‘Eastern’.”
It was also received by unanimous vote that the League may notify members by electronic messaging of an annual general meeting or special general meeting.
Meanwhile, the admission of the Berwick Football Club as a senior affiliate club of the EFNL saw a small majority of members vote ‘no’ to its inclusion into the competition for season 2020.
The EFNL will transition across to the new name and logo in the coming months, with the logo to be used on all official publications and digital and social channels, and all new orders including football, netball and umpiring uniforms.
