Eastland Volunteer of the Week

Behind every sporting club and league, there’s a great amount of volunteers who give up their hours of their week all for the love of the game.

The Eastern Football Netball League and Eastland would like to thank some of the hard-working members in the community by recognising them through the Volunteer of the Week award.

Col Knight from the Noble Park Football Club has been nominated as the first winner of the award.

Knight has done a fantastic job at Noble Park, running both the barbecue and the bar for decades.

His hours of volunteering doesn’t stop at just game day, Knight is also busy with the club through the weeks, performing other tasks such as stocking the fridges.

He’s incredible reliability and dedication to the club over a long period of time has led to the bar at Pat Wright Senior Oval renamed to ‘Col’s Bar’.

Thanks to Eastland, Col has been awarded with a 50 dollar Eastland Town Square Gift Card.
