Park Orchards has pulled off an unlikely finals berth in Division 1, defeating Bayswater by 17 points. Needing Knox to claim victory over Upper Ferntree Gully, the Sharks jumped into fifth on the ladder after the Falcons bundled the Kings out of the five with an 18-point win. Meanwhile, East Ringwood finished its season on a high, getting the job done over Mooroolbark by 10 points.

In Division 2, Heathmont remains in the hunt for a finals berth after handing Mitcham a 19-point defeat, as Scoresby claimed its second-consecutive victory, defeating Mulgrave by 10 points.

In Division 3, Warrandyte defeated the Waverley Blues’ by 21 points as Ferntree Gully accounted for Donvale by 46 points, ending the Magpies’ season.

Surrey Park has ended the longest finals drought in the EFL, finishing in fourth position by 0.55% ahead of Silvan as the Panthers claimed a finals berth for the first time since 2006. Leading into the round, Surrey Park sat in fourth position with a five per cent advantage over Silvan. The Cats defeated Croydon North-MLOC by 276 points, whilst the Panthers claimed victory over Nunawading by 186 points to hold onto fifth position.
Meanwhile, Fairpark defeated ladder-leader East Burwood by 28 points.
