It is with regret that after three years in the role of Media Manager, the Eastern Football Netball League (EFNL) has accepted the resignation of Daniel Cencic.

EFNL CEO Troy Swainston praised Cencic’s contribution during his time with the League.

“Daniel leaves the EFNL after three years, in that time he has delivered strong growth and engagement across all social media platforms through produced content, he was instrumental in the roll-out of the new website and our match-day coverage continues to lead the way in community football,” Swainston said.

“We wish him all the best in his new role.”

Cencic thanked all those involved with the League.

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time working with the EFNL over the past three years and am thankful for the great opportunities afforded to me across a range of areas in media including broadcasting, reporting and publishing,” he said.

“I’d like to thank all EFNL staff – past and present – clubs and media personnel for their support over the past three years and I look forward to continuing a congenial relationship with all parties in the future in my new role as a sports reporter at Leader.

“Thank you also to (former EFNL CEO) Phil Murton for giving me the opportunity three years ago, and to Broadcast Manager Ben Warren-Smith for all his support and work across my tenure.”

Cencic will finish with the League on Friday, March 13.

Applications for the role of Media Manager are to be submitted via SEEK or Sportspeople.
