The third and final week of the grading process is complete for the 2023 Bendigo Bank Netball season. Take a look at last weekend’s results and what teams will be moving divisions.
Division One

Coldstream Grey 50 def. Vermont Eagles Gold 43
Knox Falcons 40 lost to. Lilydale Falcons 70
Croydon 57 def. East Burwood Rams 52
East Burwood Black lost to East Ringwood Black 54
A great round of Division One Netball with four of this weekend’s games with a margin of twelve points or less. Croydon continued their strong early season form with a five-point win over East Burwood Rams. They’ve become one of three undefeated sides of the division along with East Ringwood and Coldstream.
The Cougars were challenged by Vermont across the night but their ball movement from the centre passes and the back court was exceptional. Steph Mcnay was fantastic as usual, playing a very strong role in Goal Defence.
The other undefeated side is last year’s reigning premiers, East Ringwood after defeating last year’s Grand Finalists, East Burwood Black by twelve points, having a very impressive second half.
With grading finished, the division will look differently next week with both Knox and Bayswater who were yet to win a game, dropping back to Division Two.

A top of the table clash between The Basin and Boronia saw the Bears give the Hawks their first loss for the season. The game was close early in the first hald with just two points in it at the half time break, 24 points to 11 in the second half opened up the game and gave The Basin their third straight win.
Montrose also just got over the line in a thriller at Oxley on Friday Night. The Demons hed off a fast finishing Lions side to win by just one point.
Oakleigh District were yet to get a win so they’ll be in Division Four next week while Vermont Violet and Kilsyth will make Division Three a twelve-team competition.

The only other side left undefeated in the division is Balwyn who gave Boronia their first loss for the season by four points. The Hawks had a big last quarter, scoring ten goals to three but they were too far behind at the final change to get across the line.
Further changes to the division sees a different looking Division Five this Friday Night. Chirnside Park Panthers and UFTG exit the division with new sides coming in.
Division Six
Vermont Eagles Black 41 def. East Ringwood White 37
Knox Black 26 lost to Lilydale Blue 31

Park Orchards White 26 tied with Waverley Blues White 26
A thrilling game out at H.E Parker last Friday Night saw Vermont Black just get over the line against East Ringwood, by four points. It was a fantastic night for the Eagles side with Vermont having their club night at H.E Parker, all seven Vermont teams at the same venue.
In what was the third draw of the round, nothing could separate both Park Orchards and Waverley Blues who tied with 26 points each after four quarters. The Sharks led for majority of the game, having a four-point lead at the last break before a Waverley Blues comeback tied things up in the last term.
