Blackburn Football Club have announced the re-signing of Senior Coach Brendan Allen for season 2023 and 2024, via the statement below.
It is with great pleasure that I write to you today to announce that last night, Brendan Allen agreed to terms and has signed on as Men’s Senior Head Coach for a further 2 seasons, (2023 & 2024).
Brendan (BA) took on the role in Season 2018 and during this time has proven to be a pivotal part of our club, revered culture, long term plans and quest for regular final’s appearances. BA has an ability to nurture young playing lists while keeping an eye on talent required from outside the club to compliment playing rosters required to continue in the EFNL Premier Division Competition.
His positive relationship with all sectors of our club is first class and plays an essential part of what The Blackburn Football Club stands for and strives to maintain. This new 2 year deal will see BA listed as the longest serving Senior Head Coach in our clubs history. An achievement certainly not lost in his decision to extend his time at our club.
On behalf of our club, committee, coaching and support staff, I am delighted to announce this to all and look forward to what the balance of 2022 holds, then into seasons 2023 & 2024.
