2023 EFNL Junior Grand Final Information

The 2023 EFNL Junior Grand Final Day has arrived!

The League would like to thank our naming rights partner Eastland, along with major sponsors Bendigo Bank and Deakin University for their support throughout the season.

The 2023 season saw 39 clubs compete in the EFNL junior season with over 400 teams registered, ranging from under 8’s through to under 18 Girls. This weekend we have 24 different clubs competing in 37 Grand Finals.

We would like to acknowledge the commitment and contributions of not only our players on the field but also our coaches, matchday officials, club officials, parents and carers that support all our participants.

Grand Final Day is also the culmination of the season for Sean Clarke and our junior umpires. We thank them for their contribution and excellent performances throughout the season and wish them well for their big day.

Also, a big thank you to all the host clubs of our junior final’s series. Hosting finals is an important part of our competition. The hospitality shown by host clubs this year has been excellent and without the support of the clubs and their volunteers, the finals would not be able to take place.

We would also like to thank our many ground managers, the EFNL Junior Advisory, Junior Manager Paul Giannopoulos and our dedicated EFNL staff for their efforts in bringing the season and finals to fruition.

As we attend today’s games, we must ensure that the environment and atmosphere on and off the field is positive and respectful. Please remember any abuse towards umpires, players, spectators or matchday officials is unacceptable.

Win or lose, today should be an exciting and memorable experience for every participant, umpire, and spectator.

Best of luck to all teams playing Grand Finals!
